Weekly read Wednesday

WHAT IS THIS LIFE

Happy Wednesday, folks. Here are my top three articles I have found on the internet this week.

While Malala Yousafzai has been honoured by the western world, her story, as a young female Pakistani, is a unique one. Young Nabila and her family received a very different treatment from US Congress in Washington DC last year, where they travelled from Pakistan to seek answers about their family trauma after they were hit by a US drone. While the US praise Malala for her efforts towards improving the lives of girls in Pakistan, they simultaneously torture the lives of young girls like Nabila with no explanation or remorse. Malala and Nabila: worlds apart is a heartbreaking and eye-opening article.
With 38 people killed at the hands of US drones in the last three weeks, it makes you wonder how many of them were somebody's innocent grandmother, father, brother, daughter?

What makes you "click" with someone else? This article suggests that it's not serendipity or a case of soul mates. Turns out, it's a lot simpler than that.

New habits can be hard to maintain. Whether you're trying to keep up going to the gym three times a week, learning a new language or choosing to read more,  here is the Smart Way to Stick to Habits
