What's New in Flat 2

WHAT IS THIS LIFE

After a busy August for us both, our little flat has been a little neglected (sorry flat). We've not been able to do all the improvements we would have liked, so September and October are going to be much more productive for our home…as soon as September's pay day comes around.

We've had some exciting deliveries arrive this week and some things have finally gone up on the walls. All little baby steps into making a home.

Seeing as one of the main reasons I started this blog was to document the progress in the flat, I thought I'd reveal a little more and include a mini tour of the building I live in.

Our flat is in a converted grade II listed Georgian house so a lot of the the original features remain, which I love. Everything inside the flat is brand new, but the original sash windows and tall ceilings still remain.

Amongst yesterday's unpacking I took a few quick snaps. Here are some of our latest and favourite additions.

Some of our most favourite things in the flat have been gifts from our friends. Thank you to all of you. Your gifts are all very much appreciated and have been given their own pride of place in the flat.

Thanks to Julia for our initialed coat hooks.

And to Lisa for our cute spoons.

Lisa found these here.

We also love our copper measuring cups from Katharine which you can see here.

There will be more posts to come on the latest additions to our home soon. I feel quite apprehensive to show the flat as a whole just yet because it seems so unfinished, but so long as you promise not to judge I'll be adding more pictures soon.

Happy Friday.
